He's taking PEDs because most everybody does it nowadays.

Of course it doesn’t define him, possibly it even makes him worse in the long run. I believe he started juicing after losing to Mayweather, is it because on the circuit he heard a rumour he needed that edge? Is it because he wanted the extra 2% margin?...who knows but regardless he screwed up, got caught and his legacy is damaged

Did this idiot forget that Abel was running his mouth to Canelo and was talking shet?? He told Canelo that real man don't run and stand there and fight....
That's gotta be the ******est shet any trainer has ever said and Freddie Roach has said some real ****** shet.....
It's boxing not brawling! Anybody with any common sense and any knowledge about boxing knows this.
So fucc Abel that ****** piece of shet!

Melody looks invulnerable now he’s on peds. Matthew Hatton was hurting him in earlier days

When he was going life and death with trout he knew he’d hit ceiling and needed to improve. Maybe he was taking it during this period to get floyd fight but came off it for the floyd fight cos of stringent testing. Melody couldn’t risk it

^ Bingo. Steroids do help you take shots that you normally would not take and the confidence factor in boxing can be great as a result.

not to mention the increased speed (or at least keeping your speed as you move up in weight) increased strength, and (very important but often overlooked) increased recovery time.
