Some cats are delusional. Pretty obvious Kovalev isn't avoiding "Sir" Browne. I'm not sure who is..the guy got a gift against Kalajdzic. The wins against Top Dog Williams (who quit against a very shot Campillo) and Seanie Monaghan are supposed to make me think he's some beast in the ring? Sorry, don't buy it. Alvarez is a decent fighter and game, has many better wins on his resume than Browne: Pascal and Bute (yes both past their prime but Pascal just stretched El Biali), Chilemba and Liebenberg.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Kov struggles against Alavarez in this fight...I think He's starting to get old. While I'm here posting this, where was all the vitriol against Stevenson for the various turds he fought? Karpency? Really? Top Dog Williams (refer above), Bika? Honestly, would prefer to leave race out of it. I follow sports as an escape to the BS of politics, etc. and prefer to view or rate people based on the quality or ******ity of their remarks as individuals. Also, I regret that I referred to Stevenson's opponents as "turds", because that is disrespectfull to those who step into the ring. I should have referred to them as suspect quality title challengers. I don't think any of them merit me calling them turds or bums as others do.

All's I know is that Sergay Kovalev dodged a bullet in 'Sir Marcus Browne ; the same can be said for Eleider Alvarez in avoiding the 'Nail' Oleksandr Gvozdyk. This is a more winnable fight for both. It kinda like how Joey Parker talked about fighting Deontay but went with Joshua instead.

Yeah, Alvarez truly impressed me vs Bute and Pascal well deserved top 5 in division imo after current 4 champs. Not impressed by Gvozdyk so far

Second, Eleider Alvarez is 34 years old, Sergay Kovalev is a 35 year old faded fighter : Marcus Browne and Oleksandr Gvozdyk are the future of this division, undefeated and primed.
