I don't think mora or vanes are anyone to celebrate but I'd definitely pick vanes to beat mora. Vanes has been in competitive fights with lara, charlo and Andrade and I've never seen him dominated the way mora was vs jacobs. As far as a Canelo tune up, no he shouldn't need 1 but what he needs and what Oscar would prefer to do are sometimes 2 very different things. I'm sure that golden boy isn't all that broken up to have let ggg age another year since the last Canelo fight because as they've known all along, age is on Canelos side. That's why they pushed the fight back once they beat Cotto to begin with.

Two things:

- Why is the ban backdated to the FIRST failed test? Despite failing a later test, they're effectively wiping it and giving him a discount on his sentence for absolutely nothing.

- 6 months is weak. Guys like Adonis Stevenson take 11 months off at a time just for fun. Heck, Canelo took 6 months off in between Cotto & Khan. All they've done here is give him a rest.

Canelo will probably claim unfair that GGG fought in May and will have less ring rust than Canelo in September, and will opt to fight Spike O'Sullivan in September and fight GGG until May 2019.
