Yeah, I was scoring the fight myself and after the 11th I had it all tied up.

I didn't even realize how many even rounds I had on my scorecard.

But the 12th I gave to JT not that he did much effective punching but atleast he was throwing punches, unlike Wright who to my surprise ran in the last round.

YOU JUST DON'T DO THAT IN A TITLE FIGHT AND THAT CLOSE.

WIN-ky ran not because he thought he had it in the bag.

He just didn't like the heat JT was giving him throughout the fight.

    Just ask DLH against TITO(LOL).

Anyway JT won by a round in my book.

    I agree w/ Wright, I don't wanna see a rematch either.

    Bring on De La Joto!

yes Winky blocked a lot of the shots but what a judge may have seen was the positive aggression part of it all . What i mean is Wink can block all he wants but the fact that Taylor has him held back, blocking and not being hit for that short time means that Taylor is some what in control of that part of the round...most of what i seen Wink was not getting clean blocks in anyways even if Taylor was only getting in half power he was still landing

115 to 114 for wright it was a tough fight to score but i think wright outworked him, alot of the rounds could have gone either way though

I had Taylor winning by a round, but will say going into the 12th i didnt think either fighter had done enough to win the fight convincingly, and since Taylor was the champ and landed the more meaningful shots that he could have won, however i also think Winkys defense is one of the best ever and kept Taylor at bay! Im also not sure if a rematch would do much to change this outcome, but if Taylor throws his 1-2 more he can like he did on a few occasions break the guard of Winky, another thing i saw was that when Taylor was throwing combos Winky was trying to throw combos too and when he did this Taylor if he kept throwing combos could have really did some damage!

Also Taylor was to tenative and kept backing up and i didnt get that it was proven that he could hurt Winky but Winky couldnt hurt him, but yet he keep backing up into the ropes!

Taylor 115, Wright 113 in a close fight, but almost all of the rounds excluding round 9 I believe it was, it was pretty obvious who won them.

I had the same scorecard as Lederman except reverse rounds 3 and 4 (doesn't affect overall scoring but for some reason he gave Wright round 3, which is insane, and Taylor round 4, a round Wright took). I also scored round 9 I think it was to Taylor instead of Wright.

punch stats mean nothing. if you'll notice, Wright dominated round 2 as far as punchstats go, but Taylor caught up to him over rounds 3 and 4. That means Wright landed like crazy in round 2 but lost some of the next couple rounds, definitely round 3. You have to understand that you don't win if you outland a guy. if you outland a guy in EVERY round, you definitely win, however. Wright outlanded Taylor big in a few key rounds, but no way did he win more rounds than Taylor.

The fight was there for Wright but he gave it away.
