That's a lie. Canelo was suspended on March 24th. They've had since March 24th to line up an opponent. Stop falling for the spin. When the temp suspension was announced I was writing topics saying the May 5th fight is off. A simple reading of the NSAC rules tells you they don't allow any banned substances and it's not a question of if Canelo will be suspended but how long will he be suspended. I"m sure Tom, Golden Boy, and their lawyers read those rules and came to the same conclusion. Rafael started writing columns saying the same thing when they handed down the temp suspension.

Gotta love HBO, putting on **** fights for their paying customers. Showtime is killing them... but I guess that HBO wouldn't be able to put on any of the Showtime fights on regular HBO either. Glad I dropped HBO.
