I was giving him the benefit of the doubt, but not after this.

When Alvarez, 27, was administered a Feb. 17 drug test, it marked the first time he had given a urine sample in Mexico, and it was also the earliest time in any training camp that he had to cooperate with such testing after previously being subject to testing in the final two months before a bout.

Looks like the drug testers gave him the ol' Right There Fred!! He got use to spending the first few weeks in Mexico without any testing, then going to San Diego and doing testing. They caught him red handed in Mexico.

We will see what NSAC chooses to do.

This is why it was important to do year round testing, or better yet as soon as a contract is signed. I seriously hate cheaters, and those who defend them. This wasn't an error IMHO. It was an error he got caught but am glad he was tested weeks out more than usual.
