I think PED testing for specific fights is a band aid.

They need all the ABC Group ranked fighters in a pool that gets tested year round. Thats more the way you'll fix PED usage.

I agree about testing for specific fights and suspect that this is why certain fighters' contracts seem to get signed rather close to fight dates ie delaying testing until a very short test period, or until they're "clear".

This also suggests that trainers, managers, and promoters are aware of what's really going on . . .

On February 17th he tested with 0.6-0.8ng/ml of clenbuterol in his system and then on February 20th he tested at 0.06-0.08ng/ml.

As soon as they sign the testing begins. Why would Canelo sign to be tested if he was still taking Clen? Makes zero sense. He would have put it off a few weeks.
