A fight with Nonito Donaire was first discussed all the way back in 2014, but now Carl Frampton is just days away from facing the Filipino Flash. This Saturday, The Jackal headlines his second home, Belfast's SSE Arena, to take on Donaire for the WBO Interim World Featherweight Title.

I sure hope so if I bet on him at 5:1 as I'm tempted to do...

I know you're scared you little Jackal. Nonito is going to ruin you in front of 11,000 of your fans in attendance at the SSE Arena, in Belfast! I hope to see you get taken out on a stretcher after suffering a brutal and savage beating like what Scott Quigg did to Oscar Valdez!

I know you cant sleep! you see it in your nightmares! thats why you are already attending therapy. I wish that this is a cherry-pick gone wrong, I just wish that Nonito Donaire derails your plans to keep the WBO hostage in the UK and tear up your plans to build a domestic showdown with the winner of Selby-Warrington, cause that's what this is about isn't it? another BS 'unification' with another euro-bum like you did with Quigg as both of you ducked Rigo!!!

This is nothing new for me, I know Carl Fraudton ducked Gary Russel jr. like that bum Josh Warrington ducked Jo-Jo Diaz, but credit to the Americans for get it on! you're a BUM FRAUDTON!!!

Rooting for Filipino Flash here, real true warrior and future HOF!

Hope he turns back the clock one more time and adds Frampton to his highlight reel collection!

I really think Donaire wins this 1.

Donaire's way past his best, but Frampton's career has been in disarray post Santa Cruz, with some very sub-par performances.

I feel that Frampton will focus himself for this though and should win clearly. He steps up a level against good opposition and I think his speed will be too much for Nonito to deal with. I think Donaire has a puncher's chance but not too much else. This could be his last fight.
