I'm a little confused by this post. Charlo was champ at 154. It's not unusual at all for a champ to move up a division and be ranked highly by the belt orgs. Andrade is also ranked highly and he wasn't even champ at 154 and has only had one fight at 160 too. There are examples of this all over the sport. I'm not sure why Al is mentioned as a factor here.

Btw, Danny chose to sign with HBO. We all know that stopped any chance of him fighting the valuable Showtime properties soon. Just adding some context to your targeted post lol

I'd like to see the fight...it would probably be very similar to Jacobs/GGG...GGG applying the pressure, cautious of Charlo's power...Charlo feeling GGG's power early and moving and trying to last 12 rounds. Problem is no one should think Jacobs won that fight, yet some of the haters actually think it was close. When you are the challenger, get outlanded in 9 out of 11 rounds, get knocked down, get hurt multiple times, never hurt or knock down the champ, and the champion is bringing the fight to you the whole time, no one should feel the challenger did enough to win. We should all be able to agree on that.

But if Charlo lasts 12 rounds and only gets knocked down once/has a similar fight to Jacobs, some people on here will say he deserved to win, which is nonsense. People are just honestly desperate for a 'great black hope' to beat GGG. I do give Charlo a puncher's chance though. His knockout of J-rock was impressive and it is possible GGG could get caught in a similar way, especially with him being 36.

Know problem trying to make the O'Sullivan fight. We know for a fact he is not fighting Charlo. pussie g is not trying to get his head smashed in on live tv.

But he's supposed to be the best? Fuucking clown
Charlo! The new great black hope! Lol...he went life and death with Austin Trout bro...good fighter though, but anyone who has him favored over GGG is not smart (and judging from your spelling you are not smart :0)

Dude are so dumb! Lol...I wish we could just hide all the comments from sub 80 IQ people, it is so tiresome reading them...anyone who thinks Charlo is favored to beat GGG is an idiot...GGG better in every way at this point. Charlo has a shot but you are all desperate for any 'great black hope' to beat GGG, it's weird man. Just root for your guy but give credit where it is due also.

Based on your logic, if GGG doesn't fight Jermall next (even though it's not his turn) then THE ONLY REASON it won't happen is because GGG fans are afraid to see GGG lose to Jermall - and Jermall only .

You still have this mindset that fans get to determine which order the belts are defended. It just doesn't work that way.
Dude I hear ya...but reasoning with these 'guys' is futile...their IQ is legitimately 80 or so, they just can't analyze anything at all...everything for them is about race

Personally I think that would be a good fight. BJS is elusive so it could be interesting.

Watching Jacobs and Charlo my first impression is Jacobs is more versatile. Depends if Charlo can take a punch from a good middleweight and can he get past Golovkin's jab.

"We are addressing this matter... and Kovalev hurt the process as well but it's unacceptable to continue. WBC is ruling soon," stated Sulaiman.

"But the WBC appears to take issue with this situation, because there have been numerous step-aside deals, and numerous orders to fight Alvarez, and the other ranked fighters under the WBC are becoming irritated over a scenario where everyone ranked under Alvarez continue to wait with no title shot openings in sight and some are abandoning the WBC to pursue light heavyweight title opportunities in the other sanctioning bodies."

All taken from the same article. I don't get why it took them this long to realize that there was a problem with this.
But if the other contenders are leaving the wbc for that reason, doesn't it just mean that they ducking Alvarez? Coz Alvarez has fought an eliminator every time he took a step aside deal.

So then, by process of elimination, the people that are allegedly leaving the rankings are either the ones who already lost a title eliminator to Alvarez, or are not confident they can beat Alvarez to become the mandatory, in other words, ducking.

So if you're the wbc, how do you stop a 'ducking Alvarez' scenario?
