He's playing semantics. He knows you're talking about a % and not the overall amount, which would obviously be higher because Joshua-Wilder is a more in demand fight than Joshua-Parker. Parker got 33% supposedly. No reason Wilder shouldn't be getting the same % or a little more.
The silence from Wilder and his team, is deafening

He didn't get 33% and the offer is twice Parker made and 6x Wilders highest payday. More than fair. Unless you're biased. Wilder is a nobody without Joshua. Any fight with Joshua is a big fight, only Joshua is a big fight for Wilder. He's playing semantics. Wilder should get less because AJ has more belts now. Plus Wilder has been talking smack this entire time. How do you overpay someone like that??? If Wilder had 4 belts and AJ had one, do you think that Wilder and his team would accept 40%??? Hell no. Look at how much Wilder's opponents have been making when they fight him. 12.5 is more than Wilder has made in his entire career combined so it's not a low offer at all. He's playing semantics. Most credible sources say that he did get 33%. What are you basing your statement on?Comment

Here's a little secret for you. When things go quiet, it means real progress is being made. Fights are made behind closed doors in silence. Stuff spills into the headlines when people are playing games instead of trying to make a fight.Comment

Overpaid
As if this won't be AJ's biggest payday for a while as well. Tell me who else at heavyweight is a marketable B side. I'll wait. Daniel Dubois isn't gonna be ready for a while.Comment

So you're finally admitting Wilder was just playing games and didn't really want the fight when he was running to the press.
