it isnt the final chapter. i can guarantee you ward will be back. its a sham retirement. hes biding his time (and possibly juicing) before the perfect opponent comes up, he doesnt want to be in that LHW division at the moment having to fight people like bivol and beterbiev. the talk of 'losing passion for the sport' is absolute horse**** cause he spoke to frank buglioni personally on the phone to try and arrange a fight.

Froch ain't often right but he was on the money about Ward. He said Ward fouls too much to be considered a great fighter. Andre retired undefeated but his holding, low blows and head butts marred his legacy.

A lot of people hate Ward because he does what their favorite fighter claims they'll do but never does.

erm...the bully beat him according to almost everyone that matters in the sport, I think 90% of all major publications had Kovalev comfortably beating Ward. Ward physically ran around the ring to avoid him.

The rematch had the worst stoppage in the history of the sport.

Agreed he's not an atg PFP fighter, but better than all contemporary smw and lhw..kind of a weak period for those divisions.

AW does have an ATG case for smw specifically tho

People were so sure he wouldn't fight Kovalev either time. I wish people would at least give him credit for that. I'm still pissed how the second fight went down, but people insisted he would duck that rematch.

Ward fought almost everyone he could have. His resume is impeccable.
