it isnt the final chapter. i can guarantee you ward will be back. its a sham retirement. hes biding his time (and possibly juicing) before the perfect opponent comes up, he doesnt want to be in that LHW division at the moment having to fight people like bivol and beterbiev. the talk of 'losing passion for the sport' is absolute horse**** cause he spoke to frank buglioni personally on the phone to try and arrange a fight.

Wat. Gennady thought Andre was "too much" for him.https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/too_much

But I guess every single dictionary is wrong because you hate Golovkin
Here's a word for you:
Gennady is afraid of "excessive" or "too much" muscles in Ca$h, but he would rather be Dre's cuckold than fight him...he was too much.cuckold
[kuhk-uh ld]
noun
the husband of an unfaithful wife.
verb (used with object)
to make a cuckold of (a husband)
And that's okay. Weight classes exist for a reason...just stop acting unrealistic...have to reap benefits AND consequences of trash talk...see DJ making Charlo turn from black to yellow

erm...the bully beat him according to almost everyone that matters in the sport, I think 90% of all major publications had Kovalev comfortably beating Ward. Ward physically ran around the ring to avoid him.
The rematch had the worst stoppage in the history of the sport.Comment

Agreed he's not an atg PFP fighter, but better than all contemporary smw and lhw..kind of a weak period for those divisions.
AW does have an ATG case for smw specifically thoComment

People were so sure he wouldn't fight Kovalev either time. I wish people would at least give him credit for that. I'm still pissed how the second fight went down, but people insisted he would duck that rematch.
Ward fought almost everyone he could have. His resume is impeccable.Comment

True. Ward beat everyone they put in front of him and that's all you can ask of any fighter.
Style wise, just not my kind of fighter.Comment
