If I were Freddie I would make the decision for him. There doesn't seem to be any respect there. Given his contribution he deserves better.

Exactly what I thought. This reeks of damage control.

"Don't touch my best friend!" he yells. "I know what happened to him!"

He puts his hand underneath him and slowly turns him over. Then Pacquiao opens his eyes and utters his first words …

Buboy was telling his best friend to lose with dignity because the world is watching. Now that's a friend.

"Are you okay?" Pacquiao asks him. "Why are you crying?"

Before the sixth, Buboy had warned about coming inside, about coming in too close.

"I told you, 'Don't go inside! Don't go inside!'"

Pacquiao has collected many people throughout his career. He's kept some, discarded others along the way, but the one constant has been his lifelong friend. Short and fat, Buboy, Filipino Barney Rubble with kind eyes and a gentle nature.

Look at the tape and see who rushes towards Manny!
        Beautiful post.

This is what a romance novel must be like.

Roach may have made Pacquiao into the monster that took the sport by storm way back when, but he's surely little more than a career parasite now. He was about as much use as **** on a boar when Manny was getting bullied by Horn in Brisbane.

I agree. These guys don't talk on a regular basis, and there is a reason for that. Jus because Roach has been his trainer doesnt mean Manny has agreed with all his training methods (to me Roach isnt a technical wizard), tactical approaches to each fight or even the way he exposes things to the media.

I'm pretty sure Manny hated the,"I think Mayweather won" comment, when Manny TOTALLY disagreed!.....Mannys older now, he cannot train like he use to. Roach "may" not be the right fit for him now. Manny, I don't think needs Roach necessarily at this stage of his career. If they get back together: cool.

Because he was handling Horn just fine and won 8-4 but got screwed.

If Road did anything wrong, it's speaking to the media to much and not speaking to the ref enough.

Pac is past his prime but you saw what happened when he refused to be on the Horn vs Crawford ppv fight, they rescheduled it because they couldn’t sell a ppv without Pac on it which means Pac is still a bigger draw than most of this top welterweight fighters right now. Another fight with Marquez should make more money than any welterweight fights right now.
