He did not say that he wanted to, indeed. But he would have been glad to, had the ref stopped the fight as he was about to do. He was being battered by a third-rate copy of Pacquiao, this is the cold fact. He said that he wanted to go on as all fighters do when they're about to be halted, but I'm sure he would have been more than happy to end it right then and there.
It's easy to act like a courageous survivor after you've been gifted with an undeserved decision. But the matter of fact is that Horn was finished, yet they kept him in the fight because they knew.
This is my personal opinion, which is of course as debatable as anyone else's. I'll give you this, though: Horn somehow survived one hell of an onslaught in the ninth round.Last edited by Tatabanya; 04-16-2018, 10:09 AM.Comment

Lmao. I feel ya on that one for sure! I hope Arum at least tries to setup a good fight for TC after this!! I'd kill for a Spence fight but would settle Thurman, Lucas M, or maybe Garcia..Comment

he will beat horn withiut a doubt because horn just isn't very good. As far as faking a hand injury, yeah, I'm sure the guy that's considered to be in the top 3 of the pound for pound list is scared of a c level Australian whose only meaningful win was a gift vs a washed up pac.Comment

Mr.50k will be running for his dear life like he did against C- rated Viktor Postol
it's what he does best, he ain't good enough to beat flat footed plodders head on.
After this fight is done its gonna be so clear that a 40yo Pacquiao did a better job than 50k flop.Comment

well if tc loses in america then he will have no excuses. he's got home advantage and isnt even the champ. i cant imagine horn quitting. tc is gonna have to keep this animal off for twelve rounds. Tall order!Pacquiao was indeed a bloody mess... and yet "savage" Horn was about to quit halfway through the fight before someone told him that the judges would have him winning.
Still, one has to admire your confidence in that poor man's brawler. I will congratulate you if he does find a way to REALLY win against Crawford. But as of now I really can't see that coming.Comment

I have already responded to another person in regard to Horn's "quitting", please see my previous posts. I know he is not a fighter who really quits, but I'm also sure that if his corner had stopped him after the 9th round with Pacquiao he would have been glad to end the fight that way.
For the rest, this is a matchup I'm curious to watch. My conviction is that Crawford will beat Horn bad, but - as I promised to yet another friend above - I will admit Horn's for real (to a degree!) should he find a way to win the fight.Comment
