based on those facts, I have come to a different conclusion

The signed the guy who would take the least amount of money in Vanes. You've not heard a single peep out of Dibella since Loeffler put out there what HBO offered. He wasn't going to put Sergiy in there for like 200k especially if they are already set to get whatever cut they are entitled to as the mandatory. Let's not pretend like Vanes is the guy who should be stepping in the ring on May 5th, the guy who was supposed to is considerably more proven than any of the mandatories people want these guys to bend over and spread their cheeks for...that guy failed a drug test. They had about a month to make a fight with little guaranteed money..when Spike O'Sullivan is turning down paychecks you know the money isn't right in any way whatsoever. what does saunders purse have to do with kell brooks? those things go together how lol. the brook-ggg fight was in the uk and the ggg-saunders fight was in the usa. you are purposefully trying to conflate 2 different fights with 2 different draws in order to make it seems like ggg could have offered saunders 4-5 million? laughable.

the standards have dropped, and HoF selection is pretty much a popularity contest now..... so you could be right

but I agree with THEFRESHBRAWLER, Golovkin has done nothing HOF-worthy

you do not get into the HOF by knocking out tomato-cans, or even Lemieux-level opponents..... he has stepped up twice, but Golovkin did not beat Canelo, and it is debatable whether he beat Danny Jacobs..... who is not HOF-worthy either

imho, Golovkin could not even be considered because of weak resume and weak opponent selection..... he has never fought outside 160, and currently there are a LOT of fighters in his own division who are lining up for a crack at him..... and he doesn't want to fight them either

HOF-entrants need to want to be in those type of firefights..... Golovkin looks disinterested in the top guys, despite being heavily criticized throughout his career for a lack of top fights
