People love to forget history, look how long the man at middleweight had to work his way through boxing politics with a promoter who only had experience managing the biggest name in HW...as a mandatory no less. Dibella should cool his heels because he did everything in his power to keep Maravilla away from Golovkin near the end there. Which is also ironic considering Maravilla went through almost the same journey Golovkin has to get that belt. Yet now everyone should get a shot..meanwhile nobody gave a damn when this dude was trying to get his shot

Even Tom Loeffler said Martinez didn't duck GGG. And Martinez Argentinian promoter said there was a deal in place to fight GGG if Martinez beat Cotto.

Jacobs is my guy but I cannot agree with him on this one. GGG is no spring chicken and at the age of 36 he should not be jumping into fights against young killers with only weeks notice. Gennady has earned his rightful spot on top of the DIV and if he takes a dangerous fight last min and happens to lose, we the fans will lose out on the mega rematch with Nelo. The next big fight GGG should be in needs to be vs Nelo and if not than he should take another dangerous opponent but with a proper camp and time to adequately prepare for the bout.

Jacobs trainer said 12 weeks wasn’t long enough to fight GGG in December and needed to push the fight back to March 2017, a big waste of time for GGG. Deverechenko has the same trainer, and now he is supposed to be ready for GGG?

What was Jacobs doing that he couldn’t fight for 3 months notice? Jacobs cheated and did not follow the IBF rules, came in much bigger than GGG and still got dropped and clearly lost that fight.

Nobody knows who Deverechenko is, Lou should focus on promoting him instead of trying to skip his turn when he wasn’t going to fight May 5 anyway, Deverechenko is not losing anything. Lou doesn’t know about building fights, never would put Maravillia in with GGG for a massive fight, but now wants to stick GGG with a completely unknown guy.

GGG has sold out MSG Twice in Lou’s backyard, when has Lou sold out a NY arena? Build your fighter and wait your turn instead of badmouthing one of the best champions we have today that just fought the 2 Best guys in his division last year

Rather than discuss the message Jacobs gave people are attacking Jacobs as if who he fights post GGG or what anybody else in boxing has done makes the opinion any less valid.

1. Canelo popped positive over 2 months before the fight. Since then ZERO credible opponents where approached to step in.

2. From day 1 Andrade and Dervy put there names in the hat for replacements.

3. Saunders would fight him in June. With this one, I think Oscar thinks Saunders beats GGG and thus doesn't want that fight to happen.
