I honestly don't care cause I think both sides are posturing and if the fight happens then cool but i'm not holding my breath on it happening next. On the "not a serious offer" thing I said, can anyone name me in PPV era we are in, when a fight is the biggest in it's division or even boxing at the time, where a fighter was actually offered and took a flat fee for a fight this big? It just doesn't happen and a fighter would be a fool to take it.
    same difference.

It's very relatable to the Parker fight, and Parker got a flat fee - as is confirmed by Hearn. He got a % based on the projected split, so that's one.

But you also have to factor in that this fight is only as big as it is because it's the last belt. Wilder isn't bringing much else to the table.

AJ is the draw + has all the belts. It's not really comparable to other huge recent PPV fights like GGG vs Canelo or Pacquiao vs Mayweather, as all of those fighters had previously been on PPV and were stars in their own right.

Parker vs AJ isn't comparable though cause it's not the biggest fight to be had in the division. Outside of GGG vs Canelo (which has lost some luster) this is the biggest fight in all of boxing, it may even do similar if not better numbers due to it being the heavyweight division. Think about that for a second, you're a fighter in the biggest fight in boxing and you have the potential to take a split of everything but you're gonna take a flat fee? No promoter or fighter would take that deal, it would be idiotic. You may say Wilder brings nothing to the table but his popularity is growing and neither one can say they are the undisputed champ without the other's belt. They need each other for this fight.

Hey didn't Mayweather and Hatton have a deal where as Floyd kept all US PPV revenue that was entitled to him and Hatton kept all UK PPV money? If Wilder isn't the draw people are saying he is then why don't they do something like that as far as splitting PPV money. That could solve at least one hurdle. I don't know man i'm just throwing crap out there now, . I just want to see the fight

But the fight is the biggest fight in boxing because of AJ, not Wilder. Wilder could literally fight anyone else on the planet and it wouldn't generate 5million dollars. It wouldn't matter if it was for one belt, all the belts or 1000 belts.

Hehe the last part about Mayweather vs Hatton, come on. If AJ kept the UK money and Wilder kept the US money that would be 99:1 in AJs favour.

I want to see the fight too, and honestly couldn't care less. Both will get paid loads.

You consider it a gift and fictitious.
In the real world, Parker made good money for a prizefighter through that. Dude has been earning better than Wilder for a while, so he's been doing something noticeable.

They're need Hearn to promote it because he's better at making money than Wilder's side has evidenced so far. All Wilder has to bargain with is his belt, he doesn't have a proven record of making the essential money he's hoping for. Parker was doing pretty well for himself and was willing to take the money he 'negotiated'. Unfortunately Wilder is making demands he hasn't got the income to back up.
Hopefully it does get resolved soon whatever way it goes, I couldn't care less who gets what, I can just see how Wilder's side is gonna be the ones who need to be realistic about their earning power so far.
