Spike is just confirming what loeffler basically admitted himself. His excuse for trying to duck the IBF mandatory is we don't have any money to pay dervy. If you can't afford spike or dervy then just scrap the date. Only fighting bum vanes who admitted himself he is the getting paid much because he is willing to fight for practically free. Loeffler is a amateur. You will get more money if you move the date or make a better quality fight. They chose neither and now making GGG look bad this fight getting killed by media and fans also might cost GGG his IBF belt. SMH.

GGG was about to go round 2 with one of the biggest names in boxing on CLEn, and everyone out there is saying he’s scared of these cats they are throwing at him. Get real. The commission is denying the names not the camp.

The commission never rejected Derevyanchenko or Andrade. It rejected the dangerous mismatches like that Mexican kid. You must live in your own fantasy world.

Also, Canelo-GGG rematch will NEVER happen. Find other reasons to defend him.

This mess is on GGG not HBO from day 1 when the canelo fight was in jeopardy the only fighters they were considering were bums and bad fights turning down better opponents who raised their hand willing to fighr. It was trash fights when they were keeping it on PPV which meant HBO was never supposed to pay for it. Then when they realized GGG would get embarrassed with a half empty arena and a PPV flop with the guys they were planning. So they asked HBO to pay for bum fights and get it out of vegas with 3 weeks notice so you get a shyt budget. You move the date or fight better opponent and HBO would of given them more money or you could of still made it ppv.

Folks trying to act like they are making a shyt fight because the budget is low. No its opposite they were looking for shyt opponents and then asked for a budget for a horrible fight. LMAO

Fox is a better fighter than anyone Lil'G ever fought. Fox is probably 2nd ranked p4p fighter.

That's the problem here it would be one thing if ggg camp were calling out better fighters and trying to make a decent fight and HBO was preventing it then you could get some sympathy. But that is not what happened. They wasted time, they ignored any fighter with a pulse who wanted to step in. They were only looking at bums. And then in the 11th hour came begging to HBO to finance fights that were so bad that they were getting ridiculed and with 3 weeks notice. So of course HBO ain't ****** and know this is a dumpster fire and gave them a budget worthy of the fight they were trying to make.

If GGG tried to make a better fight and or moved the date HBO would obviously give them a bigger budget. GGG wants his cake and eat it too. Refuse to move the date refuse to fight anybody with a pulse but want to be paid without having to pay for an opponent.

but what I don't get is..... fighting Vanes now, will OBVIOUSLY kill a much better fight in future..... because in September Golovkin cannot fight..... 1) his mandatory Derevyanchenko..... 2) his WBO dream Saunders..... 3) his payday Canelo..... and 4) his other mando Charlo

why are they wasting their time with this sillyness, when they could either jump on Saunders in June..... or fight Derevyanchenko in May, freeing up September for Canelo/Saunders..... they know that the decision to fight Vanes will cause them a problem in September?

sounds to me like they REALLY want Hopkins defence record..... and will risk losing either the IBF or the WBO if Canelo is free in September..... after which Golovkin will retire
