I said in an earlier post that AJ sitting back and trying to put jab Wilder is a recipe to get KTFO.
Because it only takes a Wilder one time to get him hurt and it’s over.
AJ got to get inside and try to crowd Wilder from unloading his right hand.
It’s still dangerous because we don’t know what improvements Wilder has to his inside game assuming he’s been constantly working on his game.
The biggest risk to this approach though is AJ might gas and get rocked coming in tired.Comment

Another thing he needs to do is make sure Hearns pays another ref to step in at any time when Wilder gets close or sees the right hand releasedI said in an earlier post that AJ sitting back and trying to put jab Wilder is a recipe to get KTFO.

He does't have a choice really. If he sits back and let Wilder work that jab at range, he'll get sparked out by round three or four b/c his head movement is not very good and he likes to jump straight back against right hands.
I think he has to close distance and let go of those solid combinations he has in his arsenal. He'll have to be careful though because Wilder has shown the ability to shoot that right hand counter in while under fire.
It's a very intriguing match-up. I think if AJ fought a little longer it wouldn't be as competitive, but for his size, AJ doesn't fight at range as good as you think he would. You both got it. Joshua just can't outjab Wilder and if Wilder has the time to establish his jab and set up the right it's game over. Joshua's only chance is to press early and KO Wilder but Wilder can move and is very dangerous when corneredThat's his best chance actually. AJ has to be on top of Wilder and close the distance to push him around use his size and try to get Wilder on the ropes.
Wilder's best chance is to stay on the outside, box and look for openings with the right hand. The right hand is a game changer but Wilder has to stay out of harm's way and keep his distance.Comment

I'm still trying to find the reason why they called that a tactical fight. Things didn't change, the only adjustment Joshua showed was the left hook down to catch Parker ducking in, but it was taken from him right away. That's all the IQ showed on the fight, it was more a big guy using his size to defeat a smaller guy who has little powerComment

Not inside but at mid-range. Wilder has a better in-fighting game, but Joshua has a better mid-range arsenalI said in an earlier post that AJ sitting back and trying to put jab Wilder is a recipe to get KTFO.

Going to war is probably a good idea as AJ is the better boxer and better on the inside. It could backfire though as Wilder has more stamina and power.
If Wilder catches Joshua he's not going to be Klitschko and let him off the hook. He's gonna windmill until he finishes him.
I hope this turns out to be an explosive fight but have a feeling it's going to be more tactical than people think. Joshua Gotta do his part to sell tickets though.Comment

Pay him what he deserves as the true #2 heavyweight and stop delaying the fight. If Roy Jones demanded 60/40 from Hopkins back in the day while being the pound for pound best in the sport then Joshua can take 60/40 and realize they will both make more money fighting each other.Comment
