I said in an earlier post that AJ sitting back and trying to put jab Wilder is a recipe to get KTFO.
Because it only takes a Wilder one time to get him hurt and it’s over.
AJ got to get inside and try to crowd Wilder from unloading his right hand.
It’s still dangerous because we don’t know what improvements Wilder has to his inside game assuming he’s been constantly working on his game.
The biggest risk to this approach though is AJ might gas and get rocked coming in tired.

I think he has to close distance and let go of those solid combinations he has in his arsenal. He'll have to be careful though because Wilder has shown the ability to shoot that right hand counter in while under fire.
It's a very intriguing match-up. I think if AJ fought a little longer it wouldn't be as competitive, but for his size, AJ doesn't fight at range as good as you think he would.Originally posted by True That View PostThat's his best chance actually. AJ has to be on top of Wilder and close the distance to push him around use his size and try to get Wilder on the ropes.
Wilder's best chance is to stay on the outside, box and look for openings with the right hand. The right hand is a game changer but Wilder has to stay out of harm's way and keep his distance.

Going to war is probably a good idea as AJ is the better boxer and better on the inside. It could backfire though as Wilder has more stamina and power.
If Wilder catches Joshua he's not going to be Klitschko and let him off the hook. He's gonna windmill until he finishes him.
I hope this turns out to be an explosive fight but have a feeling it's going to be more tactical than people think. Joshua Gotta do his part to sell tickets though.
