One problem with HBO is their biggest PPV superstar speaks no English and appears to have no interest in doing so.

they got pretty stale towards the end. pretty cliche. maybe with some bigger personalities it would be better. not just saying it as a brit but i preferred skys version 'behind the ropes' (or something like that), was a bit more gritty and actually preferred it cause it was less produced.

24/7 was very well produced TBH, but i got bored of listening to Floyd.

Floyd is so hard to watch outside the ring, its embarrassing.

Another big problem is that they’re on PPV.

I liked 24/7 as a concept, but not was burned out by, say, Pac-Margarito on the stories of Pac, Cotto, and Floyd. ****ing despised any 247s that had those guys in 'em.

Ones with other fighters were pretty cool.

Scratch that..... Cotto-Margarito II was excellent.

Yeah I also enjoy “behind the ropes”.

Boxers get main stream coverage and much more press in your country.

There are many more productions on the sweet science and it’s practitioners in the U.K.

It was ground breaking at the time and you found out so much info from a fighters training camp. Then fighters started complaining and limiting what they allow HBO can show. Today you won't see marquez drinking urine, Chavez disrespecting his trainer blowing off sessions to lay around the house in a speedo. They don't want to give one side a tactical advantage so you see generic boring bag work and scripted fluff with the family.
