I doubt he's anymore in the know about how long his suspension will be because of this decision. I do suppose he knows it'll be a 6mo+ suspension so if this is a year long more serious recovery thats only 6 months he gots to plan to go along with the rest of his time out so its a win win all things considered I'd argue.

Plus as has been the story all along with Canelo vs GGG the further aong this fight takes place the more likely the edge will start leaning more Canelo's way as GGG's gets into his late 30's when most guys are outright done or shadows of their best selves.

Not a bad strategy by Canelo & his people if this is his strategy to get GGG older for their rematch + him trying to be 100% heatlhy when the fight does come around again.

      Interesting.
      Sudden knee surgery in Mexico?
Sounds like a good time to be on PEDs and have an excuse to not get tested.

If this means he doesn't show up, he should get the maximum sentence.
He had the right to be heard, he decided not to use it.
This cannot be a valid excuse.

So canelo couldn’t beat an old man plodder?? He is so scared he has to get caught cheating then fake a knee injury to have unnecessary surgery to keep him out even longer in hopes that someone will knock out the beast that is ggg
              What a red headed poosey!
