the offer was tyhere cause ward wanted to fight him. thats how it work. there was a lot of talk also about ward wanting to fight bellew, interestingly no talk of usyk, bivol or beterbiev though.....

How does a fighter with 12 professional bouts become a mandatory #1 challenger is the real question?

And let's make one thing crystal clear here. Until about a week ago, 99% of clowns on here had no idea who Derevyanchenko was. The only reason they started hankering for that fight is because it gives them a chance to call Golovkin a ducker. If Golovkin beats Derevyanchenko, he'll become just another mandatory bum that he beat.

I know Derevyanchenko is the real deal. I've been pushing for him to fight Golovkin for more than a year, and think he's possibly the most dangerous MW out there today. To the rest of these fools, he's a convenient tool they can use to hate on Golovkin.

You're a good poster, don't become one of those clowns.
"Although Billy Joe can't recover in time for May 5 he could go as early as the first or second Saturday in June. I am making a huge offer for Gennady to come to a football ground in London. Otherwise we are just as happy to go to Las Vegas, where Golovkin is keen to headline for the first time in his career," Warren told Daily Mail.

both dibella and warren could very well be blowing nothing but smoke, but is up to loeffler to find out ...
and by the way nothing wrong with boxers making business decisions, but lets just call it like it is...
i honestly dont see Derevyanchenko going 12 rounds with ggg, to me he is not the monster or boogeyman some claim he is... of course there is some risk and if you consider that a canelo payday coulde be in play for september then the reward really isnt there for that fight... but at this point if thats an option i would much rather see that than the vanes fight, in fact no point in fighting vanes, nothing good comes out of it from that fight for ggg...

No how it works is Hearn goes to his fighter and presents options he thinks would be good, the fighter gives the OK and then the promoter tries to make the fights. Hearn might not have even sent an offer to Ward.

The reason people are calling for the fight is because he is the highest ranked of the names we've seen as possible opponents. It isn't surprising that posters want the him over:

              1. Muniaga untested 20 something JMW.
              2. Vanes who hasn't fought in 2 years
              3. O'Sullivan a journeyman bum

It's not so people can label him a ducker. It's because people want the best possible fight on a weekend that has become known for big fights.

nah!, and i dont even think he has the goods to beat ggg...
dont see that fight as risky as some others do..
but compared to vanes, spike or munguia is a much better fight...
no reason to call him the boogeyman if you ask me...
