do what you want then don't complain about your payday, the fact you might lose your belt, and that media and fans are shytting on your fight. It's an embarrassment and his team had plenty of time when Canelo failed his test to make a better fight or move the date. They deserve any criticism they get for fighting a bum like Vanes.

If they are not mandating the fight, make that clear.

To not be clear about whether you will strip GGG if he fights someone else is totally ridiculous.

We'll tell you whether you are guilty after you commit the crime.
I 100% agree with you. I hope the IBF put its foot down one way or another so there is more clarity. If they do then GGG will probably have to push the date of his next fight to make a fight with Sergei D happen. Or he could give up the belt and show us that the fight with Canelo means more than the belts. One way or another we'd know how things really stand. And the IBF has the power to make it happen.

Totally different scenario. Cotto didn't want to fight GGG at all. Plus, he stood to make more $ fighting Canelo than he did if he faced his mandatory which was GGG. Cotto made $20m against Canelo.

Based on your logic, GGG will be paying "850k" to Sergiy so that he can can make $20m fighting Vanes or (some other fighter)????

        That analogy simply doesn't work.

It actually would benefit the IBF way more to allow that fight to pull in some decent money as opposed to a rushed fight that HBO will only shell out 1.5m for. Their sanctioning fee from both fighters would be muuuch more. Sergiy's pay will be much more. Plus he hasn't even been properly training for a fight. That's a dangerous precedent to set - FORCING a fighter who hasn't been training for a world title fight to fight one of the p4p best in the sport who has been training like a mad man.

IBF has yet to mandate it and order this fight though. So, we will see.

Listen, you're a Ggg hater to the extreme and I'm not happy with any fight they've mentioned as a realistic option but you just called a guy a "bum" who has narrow loses to the top 3 guys at 154 when he fought them. Not sure what exactly you've accomplished in your field of work but I'm guessing you're probably not even close to "bum" levels by your standards.

What’s good for the gander is good for the goose either fight your mandatory or surrender the belt like Canelo.

Oh **** off. With Canelo the percentages add up to millions of dollars. With this fight we're talking about a split of A million dollars.

Yes Vanes is a bum he has NEVER fought at 160 he is coming off 2 years without fighting and had no fight coming up that he scrapped to take this instead. So he will have what 2 week training camp to fight at a new weight? And he hasn't won a fight in 3 years and lost 2 of his last 3 fights when he did. This is a TERRIBLE fight and GGG deserves all the criticsm he is getting for picking this guy especially if he gives up his belt in the process after screaming I'm about the belts and mocking other fighters business men. Now he's the business man trying to get the IBF to break their own rules and not fight his mandatory.

If anyone did this not named GGG you would murder them

the step aside money is not related to the purse... but no need for that, just give the mando his pct or give up the belt, simple...

Its funny that the lil g fans settle for derevyanchenko but make ALL the EXCUSES in the world for lil g not fighting Jermall....LMMFAO! #Lions Only!
No I wasn’t one of those people. If Jermell or Jermell or Derevyanchenko or whoever is the mandatory that’s who Golovkin should be fighting unless the Saunders fight could be made. That’s what I said. I would enjoy any of those fights.

So you don't think people should be paid more to fight quality guys than ***** fighters? Is that the point you're trying to make here?
