IBF makes $300,000 on the rematch or they can strip the clean guy that got screwed and give the belt to a no name for a $2,000 sanctioning fee.

Personally, I doubt the IBF can lose $198,000 and publicly penalize the victim of a PED user in one day.

Make no mistake, that's the threat that Dibella is using to extort money from Golovkin. The game within the game, Dibella knows that Golovkin has a 15 mil rematch and he sees a way to get a piece of it. Personally I hope GGG gives up the belt, I'd be more disappointed if he pays Dibella the extortion fee he's really after.

In truth, even if Dibella gets the belt, Derevyanchenko will give it up to either Andrade, Jacob or Charlo.

Frankly I'd mail the IBF belt to Jacob because Dibella's boy is a place holder that will lose the belt in his 1st defense.

As for the other new guys at 160, they need to make a names for themselves at 160 so that they too can bring something to the table. Hopefully they'll fight one another instead of avoiding each other the way they did at 154.

I agree there’s no shame in losing to Lara , Andrade , Charlo ( If Charlo stayed at 154 those are 3 of the top 4 in the division)

when Clenelo fk'd up that fight, Golovkin selected Munguia, Spike, and then Vanes..... despite the fact that Saunders will be ready in June..... despite the fact that there are PLENTY of better opponents available..... and despite the CLEARLY OBVIOUS, and much-more important fact..... that fighting a scrub now, will obviously cause Golovkin a massive problem in September because he cannot fight his WBO dream Saunders, his mando Derevyanchenko, his payday Canelo, and his other mando Charlo..... all on the same fkn day

2) if no Saunders..... then the OBVIOUS solution is to get Derevyanchenko out of the way, especially considering how trigger-happy the IBF are..... so that Saunders can get it in September if no Canelo..... right?

this is the third time that Golovkin could have made that fight..... but he passed, AGAIN!!
