He isn't a gypsy king. He just calls himself a gypsy king like Mayweather calls himself TBE. Is there such a thing as a gypsy king? I am not saying he isn't a good boxer. I just question this king stuff.

King of the Gypsies, or Gypsy King, was a kind of unofficial title given to gypsy bare-knuckle champions back in the day.

Fury was never a bare knuckle champ, but he did what no Gypsy King had ever done before, by becoming world HW boxing champion. So the Gypsy King title belongs to him now.

Both Tyson Fury and BJS are descendents of former bare knuckle Gypsy Kings, btw.

Long way to go before that though Paddy. He needs to get fit, stay fit and focussed, show that in the ring and put away at least one credible fighter alongside whoever is initially fed to him before he's a credible opponent for AJ.

I'm confident he'll get the first part done, it's the staying the course that I'm a bit sceptical about. A lot depends on the relationship with his new trainer I guess.

Agreed. I'm not sold on his new trainer, he should've gone with the Ingles imo.
