But yes - those paintings are CRUCIAL! I'd love to have some decorating my apartment.

I was always very respectful/curious about people who have the talent to draw/paint so well. Me personally I am rubbish, which is why I respect the ability so much.

It's one of the greatest expressions of humanity.

That is a good point. If a former NFL player did that they'd probably get a bit more sympathy because of the enormous media awareness push with CTE among NFL players.

That's a crazy long sentence considering we have child raping murderers up for parole in 20. I get that he shot at a cop and kidnapped a family at gunpoint. These are certainly no small crimes but at the end of the day it looks like everyone but Etienne went home safely.

But WOW his paintings are genuinely good...not just good but some of them are GREAT and i know for a fact he would create Huge Buzz in the New York Art Market and could have become a Millionare through his Art.

          Especially with these ones:

That sounds pretty damn cool. When I read stories about people like Clifford Etienne, I start to think maybe I have some hidden talents I haven't discovered.

That's something i like about America. You do some sick **** and you go to jail for 100 years.

In the UK, he'd be out on day release in a few years, probably painting in the local park before he tops someone else.

To get a 160 year sentence when nobody was killed is a bit too much.
