Can understand why they didnt postpone fights during the quarter or semifinals, because that would have messed with the schedules for too many fights.

But only the final is left and it's not like the fight has to be postponed for 6-12 months.
July is only 5 months after the semifinals and I dont believe that the next tournaments are starting before july, so they wont overlap.

Groves been great since he team up with shane mcguigan seemed to of jelled pretty good and george is quite clearly best SMW out there smith though is a huge SMW and a tough fight for anyone groves gona need to at top of his game to win this one and cant see him getting to that level with his shoulder injury so near to the final

Totally completely agree. Grant the extension or risk losing credibility going forward with what have been really well run tournaments. Can't see this as a problem in any way.

I agree, they can't mess with the final it's the final. If they do they risk the reputation of the tournament which I happen to like. I had Smith to win this from the off but I have shifted to Groves on the basis of 2 under Parr performances by Smith. Good fight though if it happens
