“I’m here for the long run and I’m here for my own reasons..."
He sounds like he feels Wilder is going to harm him bad in he fight. This is real fear speaking.
“I beat Wilder and Tyson Fury, but this is a career. I don’t see Man United playing Arsenal every week. Or Man United playing Man City every week. Sometimes they have to play a lower league club. You have got to fill the gaps"
Yeah, this fight is not happening.
Here is the problem, you haven't played your Arsenal yet. What you did was play Legends of Arsenal in Klitschko, get your Arsenal then you can talking about needing a rest.
Joshua, you disappoint me.Last edited by mvooom; 04-12-2018, 12:56 AM.Comment

That's right, tell them, fists do the talking not the mouth. This is why I like Joshua and tripple G. Everybody else run your mouth all you want. It don't mean ****Comment

I think you'll see safety first until undisputed is attained. He's too close to his goal now to risk derailing it. I hope once he's secured that status he can relax a little and there can be a mixture of good boxing and entertainment.Comment

It sounds to me in this answer that hes contemplating a loss against WILDER.
He comes of as not confident at all and even goes on to say that every heavy has suffered a defeat.
I think Deontay definitely has AJ shook.
Whether its cause hes so close to unifying the whole division and his last challenge will be the hardest.
Well sure seems like hes abit hesitant.
I hope he wants this fight to happen and really doesnt care about his 0 cause it would be a shame if this fight don't get made to safeguard that zero.Comment

Against Wilder I would expect more of the same. Wilder isn’t Parker though and where as Parker was pretty defensive and agile around the wing Wilder is going to be more attacking and open to counters (his defence is non existent at times), therefore I personally can’t see it looking the same despite Joshua’s tactics being similar. There is a good possibility Wilder could be tagged by a counter and we have not only seen Ortiz rock him but also low level opposition like Stiverne and Molina so that has to be his biggest concern. Wilder is going to need to land something within first six rounds in my opinion because tactically Joshua is likely to have an edge and if it ends up being a ‘boxing’ match then I can’t see how Wilder will winComment

Well I usually stay away from critiquing fighters statements but AJ is a pure foot in mouth type of guy.
"I like to beat them in the ring. I’ve never heard of a record for winning press conferences or stare downs.”
Yeah that record would go to the greatest fighter of all time Mohammed Ali, with the runner up Mike Tyson, and possibly Mayweather. The insinuation that trash talk out the ring doesn't help in the ring is ridiculous. Does it work for everyone nope, but it also can't be dismissed, ask big George Forman about it, it's one of the stories he loves to tell about the "Rumble in the jungle". AJ's pompous, my schit don't stink demeanor is pretty damn annoying. I mean I hate when Wilder yells bomb squad but at least he's entertaining, AJ just comes off as a Self absorbed narcissist which is amplified by his dullness. Could be wrong about AJ but that is how he comes off.
Both have had exciting fights and dull fights, but styles make fights and my guess is Wilder-Joshua should be a cracker.Comment
