Just because Lampley is less crap than other commentators doesn't make him great, though.

I love Lampley when he gets to commentate on a fight that doesn't involve Americans, and you can hear all his parochial views come pouring out: "And these two guys aren't even Americans, yet they have running water and can even speak English, folks." "We apologise for the poor sound quality tonight, it's not brought to you by the superior HBO from the US of A, but some backward country where they **** pigs." Maybe I exaggerate.

But I think Lampley's signature commentary line will always be at the end of Lewis-Rahman: "we've got a new heavyweight champion of the world... and he's AN AMERICAN!"

i forgive lampley somewhat, he calls fights sort of old school style as if you (the audience) were listening to it on the radio instead of TV. **** i'd prefer to listen to him call it than sit through Lennox Lewis' commentary.

but hbo does bias their **** though.

Omg yes, Lennox may have been a great fighter but he's soo bad at commentary. Hopefully he'll get better in time :P

Well the punchstat numbers were severly flawed.
Alot of Taylors shots partially landed, but they werent counted on punchstat.
