I think when hes saying hes gonna show something different maybe he will try to just box Trout from the outside and use his reach to get a decision instead of just going for the k/o.
If he is to fight Hurd next he needs to spend a good 10rnds at least to get match fitness instead of his usual kos in the mid rounds.
He knows he will have to go the distance with Hurd.

I think the Charlo brothers are the work of a twisted genius. Whichever parent decided to name twins Jermell and Jermall sealed their greatness as boxers. With only one letter between them they've probably been fighting each other and the world ever since.
