Mexican's themselves will probably be ordering the Joshua-Wilder fight. Mexican fans are the lifeblood of North American boxing.

They appreciate fighters beyond cultural differences. For Canelo-GGG I doubt you were getting much of mainstream America to care beyond it being a championship fight.

Joshua vs Wilder does 1m PPV in the UK & 250k in America. Now add those Numbers up they won't make 100m total revenue.

If Eddie believes this fight does what joshua-parker did, why not offer Wilder a % split? If the fight tanks he gets less than 12.5.

Then why not give him the % he's worth?? Because Hearn wants to avoid this fight. When Oscar offered GG a flat rate, professionals like Marquez laughed and said that's a way of ducking.

I been hearing lately on Youtube & Facebook about Joshua vs Wilder fight making over 100 million dollars in revenue. Not even Canelo vs Golovkin made that much revenue and they are much bigger draws. (Canelo vs GGG made 50 million in revenue)

To make 100 million dollars in revenue it need to sell at least 2 million in PPV sales in the USA plus a 1 million in UK PPVs. I highly doubt that will happen. At most this fight makes barley 50 million in revenue. That being said Wilder should take that 12.5 million pay day offered by Hearn.

Revenue is the number we are at BEFORE any money starts being sorted out to this guy & that guy. I guess there would still be a boxing side of the revenue when it comes to PPV numbers doe with distributors.

That said you do get more on the UK side as someone brought up to me a week or two ago. Believe it was 60/40 boxing side vs distributor side vs the 50/50 in the US split. Not gonna alter things THAT much, but its worth noting.

Anyone happen to know what the PPV money, the Showtime money, the gate, the sponsorships were & anything I'm missing out on for the last few Joshua fights? That'd show me more how likely he could do 100M vs this guy or that guy.

I wouldn't thinking 100M would be THAT out of line here if I'm being honest. I'd definitely guess it'd be reachable even if it ass a dog on reaching it.

I'll help you out. Parker got paid less that 6 million. I'm guessing between 4-5 million. Wilder is lucky Hearn is offering him 12.5m.
