I thought it was hilarious when Larry Merchant asked him if he wanted the rematch and Wright flat out said no. Has that EVER happened before in boxing? He knows Taylor beats him in a rematch by staying off the ropes and in the center of the ring. Taylor was so dominant in the center, I gotta give props to Manny Steward for the fight strategy. Too bad Taylor didn't listen...AGAIN.
what are u rambling on about??? Winky doesnt want the rematch because he feels he got robbed!!! I think he's just pissed right now. let him settle down and reconsider where he stands. he'll come around eventually.
I think we'd all LOVE to see a rematch for entertainments sake!
first it was all these belts that mean nothing to the fighters now these **** decisions don't mean nothing.Boxing is getting like the WWE very predictable.Taylor can take Hopkins belts with a performance that rated very low but Winky can't take Taylors with the performance he put on, what a joke !!.HBO is so slanted towards Taylor it's laughable.
I hope he doesn't rematch him. I like Taylor, but let this fight be a big question mark that follows him the rest of his career. Every fighter has controversy. This is his! He was suppossed to be dominant as to maybe KO little Winky Wright. Wright should move on to other fighters.

Laughable? I think not. You're just being biased.
That was a good fight and a good peformance by both fighters but Winky came short so he doesn't get any belt nor title, period.
Winky refusing to fight a rematch is the one laughable.
Winky won. Totally took jermain out of his plan, had him confused and left him wondering what the hell to do. He landed the better cleaner shots, stunned him a couple times, and make him look silly at times something Hopkins couldnt do. Anything else you wanna know?
yeah, what fight you was watching? taylor clearly landed the harder and more effective shots
I think "Winky" was clearly frustrated at the announcement of a draw. Frustrated because he thought he had won. It doesn't make sense that he'd be frustrated because he thought he lost does it? If he thought he'd lost he'd be more than happy to accept a draw, as it's neither a win, nor a loss. It's kinda like saying "hey, you did good but nobody wins".
I think he feels that all his years of hard work and struggling to get big fights was for nothing as he feels the judges ****ed him. I agree with the draw personally. I think after all the dust settles Wright will opt for a rematch, count on it.
