I wasn't at my house hardly at all but I made a few posts. Tarver fought like a jackass, but he didn't make any excuses about it so I won't either. We aren't Roy Jones fans after all

Your defense would actually be reasonable if boxing didn't have the shady history, background and bad reputation precisely because of corruption scandals and shady decisions. To give you a recent example, Barrera's last fight. What would you think if a draw is declared in front of the whole world then suddenly when you're in the dressing room you get news that you actually lost because someone tallied the cards "incorrectly." Hmmm... it seems you don't know boxing's history too well. Well as they say "ignorance is bliss"

I knew it was gonna be a very hard fight for Winky though. Matter of fact, Im very suprised he didnt lose by a UD. Taylor is much bigger, faster, powerful, and he can sustain pressure. If there is a rematch, Winky can win. He started figuring Taylor out towards the end. Jermain would just wait until Winky threw his jab to counter. Once Winky figured that out, he timed his shots better. I tak enothing away from Jermain though. Afterall, these are the best fighters int he division.

or because he openly mentioned that he thought he received a hometown decision. i think he's reluctant to fight him because he feels it'll happen again (he's been on the receiving end of more than 1 controversial decision you know).

            And that's totally ****ing understandable.

I think a fight with Calzaghe at 168 would be a nice affair. In no way would the Welsh job his scores.

They appreciate the way he fights in Great Britain.

You really think there's any other explanation to Taylor's eye than a headbutt? Wright's jabs are good, but not that good .

his = he's, but yes I agree. Wright needs to go back down to 154. 160 is too big for him. He isn't able to keep off the bigger guys with just his jab and occassional straight left. Very impressive in making the opponent hit his gloves, but like tonight his opponent can just keep hitting his gloves until some get through and hurt him. His style just doesn't work at 160 and above.

                  laughable.
                  He at least threw punches.
                  Unlike Winky.

Yeah it wasnt a hometown decision.
And the fight was in Tennesee, not Arkansas.

The fact that he flat out turned down the decision is skeptical at best.

i think winky could beat JC. taylor power slowed winky down in some rounds, and i dont think JC has the power that taylor does
