      • He's right about the "nobody wants to lose", though. None of them will retire undefeated. I do think that it's more of financial politics getting in the way than Joshua and his desire for the fight. It'll happen eventually.

Let AJ fight Povetkin for 15 million don't let that fool get a retirement check off you by earning four times as much lol Hell f**k it who knows you might get 5 million on your next fight but at least AJ won't get Connor McGregor rich off you lol
Or if he's clever he could come up with a devious plan. Knock Joshua out and take the money, retire relinquishing belts forcing Joshua to collect them all again, in the meantime some bums will win one or 2 of the belts as they have high rankings, come back out of retirement winning belts from the bums and then rematch Joshua.

Dumb I know, but it would be funny to watch.

I imagine that's the total revenue not the purses. That will likely include all the costs that would be needed to put on and promote the show.

              • I don't see why anyone is surprised on this thread. We all knew Hearns was going to try and low ball Wilder and slime his way out of the bout. Offer Wilder a price that is so ridiculous low, that he knows that anyone in they right mind would refuse!

                • Only bigger joke than AJ is his idiotic fans that are co-signing every dumbass think Hearn does on his behalf.

He should take it, ko AJ and then get seriously paid for the rematch in Vegas.
I would agree with you, but the terms for the rematch were not set up to favor him. Plus, what is to guarantee that there is a rematch and that the rematch will do big numbers?

The difference between GGG situation is that there was a greater likelihood of a rematch and that that rematch would be lucrative.

If Wilder is serious he accepts the deal, if Joshua is serious he accepts the return deal because he will have no belts.
Why is everybody ignoring the statement in the telegraph article where AJ still wants 50/50 even if he loses? That is the bigger problem in my opinion - not necessarily the 12% offer to Wilder which is very low. If AJ's offer had been to accept the reverse if he loses, i think Wilder would have signed already.
