EASY......this generation is a generation of morons!!!!

They argue.... wilders biggest payday was 2.5 mio bla bla bla.

What was Parkers largest payday before the AJ fight?

    • Reading into the “it is a good deal and wilder should take it or he is ducking crowd” makes me wonder how the human race has been able to progress till this far.

Some of these arguments are beyond belief

I find it interesting that while you continue to deride others for talking money, you bring up the ratio between prior purses and the offer. You can't have it both ways.
Richard Schaefer, you and many posters view means nothing on the negotiating table, I deride others for speaking about money now because previously they claimed they don’t care about money “They just want to see the fight” even when told money is important in making this sort of fights.... well you can’t have it both ways, Wilder isn’t paying you. So him making 4/5 times his usual payday should stop the fight from happening. Don’t you want to see this fight?

I want to see the fight and I am commenting on actions by Eddie Hearn which I feel may prevent the fight. It seems like people are more interested in Wilder taking the deal in the reasons why he should then they are in discussing whether or not that offer makes sense from a general boxing business standard. What is the benchmark for a fighter taking a flat fee in a fight of this magnitude?

You are not at the negotiation table so I'm not sure why you made that comment.

Great because the only person that can prevent the fight from happening is Wilder, no more ducking, no more dodging, no more excuses. The offer is there and it’s represents his best payday 4/5 times over. The same can’t be said for Joshua. Let’s get this fight signed and see Wilder destroyed AJ like I predicted.

            • Why doesnt hearn and aj just say they want a few more fights against heavy punchers before they fight wilder instead of them and their fans acting like aj is this technical guru who wilder is running from and wilder deserves to be treated like a scrub. Its understandable that aj isnt ready for an akward fighter like wilder tho hes technically better. But the way you all are going about it is very childish and annoying

Or...Hearn could accept their counter offer. Wilder brutally KOs Joshua and Dubois becomes the UK savior

                    THIS.

AJ & Hearn are pulling a Canelo/Floyd and waiting for Wilder to either get desperate, lose, or get old.

In other words, why boxing is losing to every other sport here in America.

                    • Clearly a low ball offer especially with the 48 hour clock. You don't negotiate a fight like this in 48 hours. This is just posturing by team Joshua to be able to say they made an offer but they are clearly just avoiding the fight with this. AJ is an idiot. He might get knocked out by Povetkin. They are completely playing this all wrong. They should fight Wilder now because AJ is a limited guy that went life and death with Parker. They're gonna blow it. Oh well. I guess there won't be an undisputed champ because Povetkin ain't paying all them sanctioning fees. Hearn is a jackass!
