I like Joshua, and have defended him recently for a number of reasons
and I did that despite the fact my boy Parker was fighting him
but yea, Wilder obviously wants that fight more than Team Joshua do
no way should Parker make more money than Wilder, just because he is an easier/preferred opponent
the Joshua fanboys need to start keeping it real..... or else they will cushion their fighters opponent selection..... just like the golov-tards do for HypekinOriginally posted by SkillspayBills View PostAt the end of t he day Hearn is going to say "I offered Wilder 6 TIMES more than he has ever made and he didn't accept it....so here's Povetkin/Miller next." It's so damn obvious he doesn't want the fight next.Originally posted by Ake-Dawg View PostWhy say take it or leave it if you're trying to negotiate? Why start at a position so unreasonable?
When it comes to take it or leave it can we expect Hearn to roll over for Wilder if so why? Why should his rival make it easy for him?
Knew it would come to this, Wilder ***** his way out at every turn.

You're exxagerrating about GGG. Wilder's live gates (he's cleared 12k tickets in his last two fights), ratings (1MM + views in his last two fights on premium cable), and purse ($2 million) shows he's the most popular US born guy right now. I guarantee you that the GGG May 5th fight doesn't clear 1 million views on premium cable (unless they force it on PPV, but I doubt it since it's already been moved to stubhub lol)
The reality is, Wilder is more popular than some here like to acknowledge. His social media following clearly shows that too.
Ggg made 3 million for Lemiuex and over 3.5 for Jacobs. Wilder hasn’t broke the 2.5 mil level.
Ggg sells out the forum and msg. 20k in the seats at the garden while wilder only fills 60% of Barclays including the thousands of giveaways pbc does at the Barclays.

I think it's pretty obvious it's just posturing on Hearns part. See how desperate Wilder is to make the fight and how much they can win the negotiation. There are simple facts pretty evident that allow it all to make sense if you look at it unbiased:
Wilder needs Joshua more than vice versa. AJ makes alot more and has more options that will pack out thier stadiums. He can fight Povetkin, Miller, or even Fury and they will be huge events. Wilder had to take on a very dangerous, undefeated Ortiz to make a fraction of what AJ makes for fighting less. Wilder, while explosive, can look beatable in fights. Any present or future huge paydays for Wilder require him to fight AJ. The longer that doesn't happen the greater risk he suffers a hiccup and doesn't cash in proper. Very similar situation as Canelo/GGG. I don't think AJ or Hearn are afraid of Wilder, just like I don't think Canelo was afraid of GGG; the Wilder fight provides greater risks of losing just as the GGG fight did for Canelo. If the risk is greater and they have other options, they will try to maximize the benefit for them to make that fight.
I think it's truly a pick'em fight, it's just that Hearn and AJ have all the options and leverage and that's why we are seeing what we're seeing in the negotiation.
