It would need to gross a lot more than that. The cable providers take almost half the PPV. Who's expected amount?

          its ******....

AJ got 20 mil for parker fight
Parker got 13 mil for the fight
Parker got a split of the revenue of the fight

          for those comparing prior $
Parker got 1.1 mil vs hug fury

meaning AJ paid him almost 13 times more than his last fight
which is more than 6 times more than wilder is offered

the AJ/Wilder fight will generate a helluva lot more than the AJ/Parker fight....

so why is wilder getting offered a low 12.5 mill?

The guy in the tweet said the fight would be $80-100m so probably half of that is for the fighters so let's say $40m off that Wilder's offered $12.5m which is slightly over 30%. I think they'll reject that but work out something closer to $15m probably a little more.

You came up with 30%. I just did the math. you need to clarify, not me.

how much IYO does the fight have to earn for $12.5 mil flat fee to be fair?

It's just an offer. Wilder's people can always counter. Considering Wilder's ego & the magnitude of this fight, if Hearn offers him the world to start, it won't be enough.

OK, got it. Fight makes $80-100 mil US. Lets say $90 mil. Half is $45 mil US.

Wilder gets $12.5 mil US, AJ gets $32.5 mil US. Wilder makes deal for $15 mil US, leaves AJ $30 mil US.

Again, IMO wilder should take the short money and just beat his ass.
