Before they fought Saturday night, Jarrett Hurd didn't expect Erislandy Lara to hit him harder than any of his previous opponents. Hurd considered Tony Harrison the most powerful puncher he had faced in any of his first 21 professional fights. My thoughts as well. His style is as punishing on him as much as it is for his opponents. He has the tools to beat Charlo, but I just think he takes too many shots. Either way it's a 50/50 in my book.

Just watched the fight and there's no way he fkn won. Lare landed the cleaner shots trough out the fight..this guy is a moving punching bag...just because he had him down they decided to give him the fight...they forgot that this bum got out boxed for 11 rounds, that bum charlo will beat him too but he might get robbed like lara tho.

Things like this boxers usually take to the grave. Lara's power is deceiving. the thing with Hurd is he can actually box and be on his toes if you watch his earlier fights. Yea Lara hit him with some vicious sht but Lara got the worse of that fight. Hurd was destroying the body and the uppercut couldn't miss. the right man won.

Charlo might bring the boxer out of Hurd because I can't see him eating that many flush punches in that fight and surviving. If he does walk Charlo down then hey Hurd is a legend. but I don't see it.

Can't argue with this at all. Hurd isn't shop worn so just might be able to weather the charlo storm. I'd love to see this!
