My thoughts are he would have a good chance to win. Mayweather was the best welterweight in the world five years ago but he owned two 154 pound titles that he never defended. The Mayweather of five years ago may have had a hard time beating Lara. Maidana gave Mayweather a hard fight. Hurd is bigger and better than Maidana and hits harder.

No foot speed no hand speed, Floyd schools him and makes it look so easy people think he cheated , speed kills and nobody this slow will trouble him, Hurd and Margo are like plodding zombies to a guy with Floyds tools, and Lara don't have Floyds tools nor stamina, Floyd would school lara as well in a pure boxing contest, different classes.

I dont like going against mayweather but i think Hurd gives him some problems with his pressure stalking style. I wouldnt bet against mayweather though so probably mayweather wins a close fight.

Floyd has never fought a pressure fighter as big or tall as Hurd.

fights are not fought on paper and floyd knew not to get in the ring with Margarito because even on paper he didn't like the odds...when u get offered your biggest payday and u say its easy work but leave the money on the table and never collect, that speaks volumes...Money Mayweather didn't want the easy money but claim it was easy work......we can talk all day but who knew if Floyd would really beat a big relentless pressure fighter....remember he struggled with the smaller Castillo and Madiana, thats a fact.
