“Back in the day 250,000 pay per view buys used to be a solid touch, you know. Then, like lately, lets go back to Dillian Whyte against Joshua, again, off the top of my head, 420,000 buys. Anthony Joshua against Charles Martin – 500 and something thousand buys. Kell Brook against Gennady Golovkin – 400,000 buys. Anthony Joshua against Eric Molina – 450,000 buys. David Haye against Tony Bellew – 750,000 buys. Klitschko against Joshua – 1.2 million buys.”
That's straight from Hearn... AJ/Parker didn't get no 2 mil buys. AJ/Takam did around 700-800k. If AJ/Parker did over 2 mil buys on SKY PPV, Hearn would be bragging about breaking the May/Mac record.Comment

How come half the time he doesnt fight the guy Hearn wants then?
Hearn saying Klitschko to soon, Joshua saying I want it now
Hearn saying we'll go to US start of 2018, Joshua saying he wants Parker now
Hearn talking about Miller US debut, Joshua saying he wants Wilder now
did berto deserve that amount? How about maidana? Cotto got 8 mil
floyd actually paid his opponents even tho he made alot himself. Thats one thing you can't nack on him he gave them high purses but the fact remain his body of work is the reason why he had, ill repeat, over a mill almost each ppv (not berto and still gave berto a good amount for such a low ppv number compared to his past ones)
even in his biggest fight (pac) wasnt that purse like 60/40?
even floyd knew not to do that to pacquiao stop reachingComment

You got told he was ducking because Joshua has been running his mouth like this forever, and Hearn always steps in and makes it clear that he wants to milk Joshua with as many easy fights as possible before facing the 1 guy that can actually beat him.
With that said, I don't like one over the other but Wilder is more entertaining as a fighter and I absolutely want to see these 2 go at it.
Joshua fought scared vs Parker, he wanted nothing to do with him any time he got within reach. He will not have that luxury against Wilder who has longer reach and will be throwing bombs straight up the middle all night long.Comment
