This press release was way too long to read, but I'm not buying this app to watch one fight per month.

Why don't they just make an app where I can watch the channel live whenever I want or I can watch certain content, like Showtime? (Which has the original programming that I watch much more than boxing.)

Their content isn't strong enough to pull this move.

I think the fact that they faked an injury to roll out an app is really sad. Most people already predict that this was going to happen.

That's not how this works. No way will Manny vs. Loma be on the ESPN app.

Manny vs. Loma is a PPV. It won't be on the ESPN subscription service, so there is no way that the fight will get more subscribers for the service.

This isn't like the WWE Network, where PPVs come with the subscription. PPVs aren't part of the ESPN subscription service.
