    Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas - In a crossroads super middleweight contest, former WBC 154-pound champion Sergio Mora (29-5-2, 9 KOs) won an eight round split decision over Alfredo Angulo (24-7, 20 KOs). The scores were 77-75 for Angulo78-74 for Mora and 78-74 for Mora.

          If you are not permanently retired no fight is a "crossroads" fight or maybe every fight is a "crossroads" fight.

            If you are permanantly retired how would you have a crossroads fight at all? A lot of fights are crossroads fights because the winner goes on to bigger things while the loser goes back to the drawing board, but most fights there isnt much at stake win or lose. I think the term is generally used in matches like this where there are 2 contenders who've both had a couple losses and its a make or break fight. Winner goes on to get a bigger fights while the loser fades into bolivian for awhile as mike tython would say

                    Angulo drops to 24 and 7 at the rate he's going he will be 24 wins and 24 losses when he retires
