if canelo is elite, and 3G just drew with him, then how can 3g not be elite too?

    you make no sense.

How many more fights Clenelo need to buy before people realise he's not the best boxer out there?

He's not elite because he needed the judges help to get a draw. If GGG had knocked out or very clearly beaten Canelo on points then his legacy looks stronger and he gets to say he's elite. Instead of that his best win is over Brook a far smaller man that was the 3rd best welter in the world.

but.... if you are good enough to MATCH an elite...surely that means that YOU have a case for being elite? even briefly.

The definition of elite is a small handful of boxers who can beat all others, except perhaps those in that small group.

You cant pretend that Canelo is one of these elite, and yet when he is matched punch for punch by someone, that other someone isnt equivalent to his level too.

The more you advance your own argument, the more you tear it down!

You must be able to see your self destructive argument - so why are you pretending you dont notice it?

Canelo won by at least 2 rounds you could argue 3-4 rounds. That's how more elite he is than ggg. If the judges didn't save him he would be the former champ right now that's how advanced he is.

it was a draw. the evidence is they are on equal footing, with one caveat, canelo is naturally smaller (being a LMW), so he can be considered better in that respect that he moved up and still matched the best man at MW. That, I will grant you, is a solid, if minor, argument that works.

Aside from that, the more you argue that Canelo is elite, the more you are arguing that 3G is too. You are basically arguing my case for me.

                    How? By not throwing?

Everyone who isn't a window licker like yourself knows that GGG won that fight.

It was a draw because the judges deemed it that way which was extremely in favor of the beaten man ggg. If this was any of sport without the long and storied history of corruption Canelo would be mw champ right now and ggg would be an afterthought. As is the judges ruin fights and make some guys look better than what they are which is this exact case. Canelo was/is the better fighter. GGG is a solid B level guy but an elite doesn't need judges to bail him out of a loss.
