WBA, IBF and WBO are 75/25.

WBC is a 70/30 split of 90% of the purse bid. 10% of the purse bid is awarded to the winner of the fight. So 73/27 if the champion wins the fight and 63/37 if the challenger wins the fight.

This is why the WBC has historically had the strongest mandatories, because the challenger gets a higher percentage in the WBC compared to the other organizations.

He's had his fair share of duds: Rodriguez, Zaveck, Foreman. Being allied with the Charlos was a big part of the problem. Hopefully we get Jermell vs. Lara, assuming he beats Hurd tonight.

In fairness Haymon seems pretty close to that Luis DeCubas Jr guy which seems a odd matchup. I've heard him talk before. He didn't come off as no hermit genius to me...but else what that mouth do.

Plus he looks mildly ******ed so if he told on Haymon no one would probably believe him either. "Autistic DeCubas just making sh^t up".

Great to see Lara getting paid good, he deserves it regardless of what people on here say.
Also very happy to see fighters willing to take what is considered low money for dangerous fights, bravo, more of this please!

Oh, and on a side note is there a more robbed fighter than Lara?
            I don't think so!

              Per Dan Rafael:

              Erislandy Lara $1 million
              Jarrett Hurd $500,000
              Caleb Truax $300,000
              James DeGale $300,000
              Julian Williams $40,000
              Nathaniel Gallimore $40,000

I've always wondered why its such a HUGE part of the sport to announce purses?

He ain't done shït but beat an old Trout who was out for 1.5 years and on top of that Trout was shïtting on Hurd. Stamina was the issue for Trout and inactivity, plus Hurd is a weight bully at 54. He's lucky he's getting 500k.

Five fights ago Hurd was fighting a 5-0 fighter, like really?

He's been the main event and gotten at least 750k for his last 6 **** fights. How? I honestly have no clue.
