I know the IBF states a purse bid splits 75/25 in favor of the champ, I dunno if there are similar agreements with the WBC/A/O

WBC is a 70/30 split of 90% of the purse bid. 10% of the purse bid is awarded to the winner of the fight. So 73/27 if the champion wins the fight and 63/37 if the challenger wins the fight.

This is why the WBC has historically had the strongest mandatories, because the challenger gets a higher percentage in the WBC compared to the other organizations.

Hurd should get that million. All the excitement of that fight will be because of him.

He ain't done shït but beat an old Trout who was out for 1.5 years and on top of that Trout was shïtting on Hurd. Stamina was the issue for Trout and inactivity, plus Hurd is a weight bully at 54. He's lucky he's getting 500k.
