I know you want to act like Golovkin never pursued the fight but it's almost certain he did.

"However, because Munguia has faced extremely low-level opposition, has never had a scheduled 12-round fight and is not a middleweight it was questionable whether the commission would approve him as an opponent. On Thursday, sources told ESPN that the commission was not going to approve him."

Golovkin tried to pull a kid up that was a WW only a year ago. Ridiculous.
GGG, is this what thou, a formidable beast with two, aye, but three horns, hast come to?

Behold, I shall send a scurvy fellow, nay, but a lewd fellow by the name of Blow Jub Saunders, to usurp thy mantle, and to leave the barren; aye, but impotent. Then shalt thou rend thy clothes and sit in sackcloth three days (nay, but four), and as the hour expires, sigh to high heavens, oh thou great boogeyman.

Then shalt thou seek a rematch, and fail to obtain it.

Behold, retirement doth beckon, thou gentleman from Scandinavia. Embrace it, and stop preying on the young, thou pedophile.

Then if he wins the fight, in a spectacular fashion, he will be sending a clear message that a rematch with Canelo is really necessary and that he will beat him....but fighting easy fights...what for?

I believe a cherry pick so as not to threaten a Canelo vs Golovkin rematch this fall. Sucks really, I would rather see a Jacobs, Charlo or Demetrius Andrade vs GGG fight.

For crying out loud he's 21 years old not exactly a kid. Wilfred Benitez was 17 years old with he won his first world title. I know Benitez was a much better fighter but still age isn't an issue here. He would get soundly beaten no question. I don't like that match up but don't know why they wouldn't allow it. He's had 22 fights. Anyway glad to see it didn't go through but somewhat puzzled as to why. I think it's going to see this Spike character against Golovkin which is ironic because he's probably no better, maybe worse..

Good, it was a trash match-up anyway. I'd rather GGG sit out if he's not gonna fight someone decent.

Multiple sources with knowledge of the situation told me that you like it from behind.

Golden Boy promotions had nothing to do with selecting that kid to replace Canelo. They don't promote Triple g.
So WTF are you talking about? Why you blaming Golden Boy promotions??

                    You ****** dumb motherfuccer!
If the kid was fighting some weak champion like Maliggnagi when he was champion then yes, I don't see a reason to not let the fight happen.
But you don't let a kid fight a monster like Triple g in his first world title fight and him moving up in weight.. Think about it dumbass!

He's not a kid he's 21 he wants the fight. He would get beat no doubt but isn't that up to him. I'm also glad the fight isn't going to happen it's a mismatch but saying this guy is a kid is ridiculous. What is the the NSAC? A baby sitting service?? Anyway I'm not going to argue over this the main thing is the fight is cancelled which is a good thing.
