Yes he does. Have you seen those uppercuts he throws? Dude has an amazing uppercut, off the jab or behind a right. It’s a very fast counter that he uses. His inside game, offense, is tight. Needs to work on some D, even though I think he baits on purpose.

No one says he's godzilla, or that he's huge. You just don't see guys weigh 150 pounds at that height without looking anorexic. So relative to size he is huge, you put him side by side with degale and I bet he'd look the bigger man. And how does lara look bigger?

Yeah, that's what would make it interesting. David, built as he is with his short arms should probably be at 154. Therefore, Hurd could probably "bully" David but since Hurd is not that good fighting at a distance, he'd be there all night to run into David's bombs. He might not have the "built" of a 160lbs but David definitely has real 160lbs power.

Yea the fight would be absolutely brutal and someone would be getting hurt. Like you said Hurd doesn't use his length so David could probably beat him but that would be great

I know he's had issues sometimes making 160lbs but Lemieux should find a way to go down to 154 like Curtis Stevens is actually doing right now (I've heard he's back in the gym with Rozier trying to go down to 154).

Yea if he could maintain that people wet it makes sense. Him and Stevens are both small middleweights who are consistently undersized. But I don't think their is anyway David makes 154, from what I remember he barely can make 160.

People comparing Hurd to Paul Williams. Yeah Williams is a better boxer but he also had a thinner frame. Hurd is solid and throws thudding punches. By the time Williams met Lara he was on the verge of being shot and his glaring flaws were already exposed by Martinez. Even then I thought Williams caught Lara with a lot of clean shots. I think Hurd will be more of a problem than Williams because of his tenacity. I also think Hurd can box (although he's somewhat limited) but for some reason he's developed this no defense style.
