It's almost impossible for a fighter to be great these days.
They'll never get enough fights or fights against bigger names.
Look at Crawford, I think he's great. But his resume is solid at best, to no fault of his own. If he can't get fights like Floyd, pac, Thurman, etc, how good can his resume ever be?Comment

GGG- Jacobs( top 3), Lemieux( top 5), Murray (top 10), Geale( top 10), Brook
Wilder- Stiverne( top 5), Ortiz (top 3), Scott, Duhaupas, Szpilka
Kovalev- Hopkins (top 3), Pascal (top 5), Chilemba, Cleverley (top 10), Pascal 2
Lomachenko- Rigo, Russell( top 5), Martinez ( top 5), Walters, Sosa
Mikey Garcia- Lipinets (top 5), Broner, R. Martinez, Zlantičanin ( top 3), Salido
Of all of them I say Mickey has the best resume. I feel like beside Garcia, Joshua and Kovalev too a certain Degree, you can make a case for the other guys being avoided.Comment

You can be a great fighter (ie talent/skill) without a great resume (ie quality opponents).
You can have a great resume lacking top quality skills.
Having both top quality skill and top quality opposition means you have a great career.Comment

Both joshua and lomachenko have not had the fights yet to knock there record yet, both have impressive wins for how many fights they have had though and both though have proven they want to put in the work to be great already. Although your right in saying at the minute there no all time greats give them time the others though should have better wins.Comment

We are living in the me me generation. Young people are soft, spoiled and looking for instant gratification.
Not only is boxing watered down but all sports are watered down to poosie status.
Everything is watered downComment
