The people that say Foreman wasn't as skilled as Wilder or Ortiz really don't know **** about boxing.

Yeah idk. Foreman destroyed Cooney who is just as big as Wilder but more skilled. Wilder was more athletic and allusive than Cooney so I really don't know

Ortiz was much more mobile. I don't think old Foreman could throw a pull counter, could he? I also think current Ortiz punches way harder than 90's Foreman.

I think current Ortiz would just confuse 90's Foreman.

Also, how fast was George Foreman's straight right in the 90's? I remember he wasn't the fastest in his prime, how could he hang with someone with Ortiz?

Ortiz could just circle away from that right all night long and make him look silly. Really can't see what George could do.

This is Foreman in '89 vs Everett Martin, a career LHW/Cruiserweight stannding 5'11. 17 wins, 7 losses, KO'd twice. Now if this was Ortiz he'd get laughed at, but because it's Foreman he gets a pass.

Foreman's power has looked questionable at numerous times throughout his career. Take Peralta-Foreman for example, Peralta was 197lbs managed to go 10 rounds twice. 208lb Holyfield was also eating Foreman punches. Ali managed to eat a TON of body shots. etc.
Ortiz does not have better stamina or power than Foreman.

Ortiz' power is the most overrated I've even seen. And his stamina isn't worth pissing on. He did nothing against wilder but still gassed out from throwing a few shots.

Ortiz would be a water boy in the 1970's. Just lol at this guy being able to hang with anyone of the top hw's in that era.

That's Foreman way past his prime and still managed to win the title at 45. Prime foreman would eat oritz up.

You know damn well if a career cruiser ate Ortiz's punches he'd be laughed at, am I lying? Ortiz completely batters guys.

Ortiz has NEVER gassed, he was concussed vs Wilder, he was getting dropped repeatedly, you're not going to be a "fresh" fighter when you're getting dropped.

This thread is about 90's Foreman. Prime Foreman couldn't even handle Jimmy Young, he got dropped by Lyle too, but some how he's going to eat Ortiz up? Not buying it at all.

197lb Peralta also ate a ridiculous amount of Foreman punches clean on the chin.

Ortiz would dominate Foreman from start to finish, Foreman's mummy guard, forehead, push off defense was horrific. Moorer is a far lesser version of Ortiz and we saw what he was able to do to Foreman before he got caught. Difference is Moorer was a career LHW, Ortiz a full blown super heavy.

Cooney is in no way comparable to Wilder lol, Wilder is the fastest, most flexible, hardest hitting super heavy of all time.
